October 2019.

JETTYCARE was invited to take part in PT. Pertamina’s Port Assessor Training. The training took place in Patra Comfort Hotel, Jakarta. We emphasize the importance of maintenance and we shared our experience in Fender, Bollard, QRH maintenance. We also briefly present about jetty pilling maintenance for concrete and steel pile.

All participants were eager to learn about maintenance and interesting discussion occurred in such short time. We hope all participants could benefited by the session, and got new knowledge. We wish all the success both participants and PT. Pertamina (Persero).

If you wish for similar training, feel free to contact and ask us any question.

INHOUSE TRAINING - PT. DIAGRAM TRIPROPORSI

April 2019.

PT. Suprabakti and ShibataFenderTeam visited PT. Diagram Triproporsi, one of the engineering consultant with extent portfolio of ports and harbours. SFT’s representative, Chris Millwood starts the session with berthing energy calculation, and fender design; ends with interesting Q&A session. We discussed about the solutions on how to design fender with high tidal environment like river.

In relation with next year’s ministry of transportation focus, which to revitalize transportation facilities including ports and jetties, we hope our knowledge sharing session will be useful for consultants.

INHOUSE TRAINING - PT. SEMEN INDONESIA & PT. TERMINAL PETIKEMAS SURABAYA

February 2019.

Receiving huge support and positive feedback from last year’s Fender Foundation Seminar participants, both Suprabakti and ShibataFenderTeam commit to continue sharing knowledge and educating users about the importance of design and compounding in fender systems, by organizing In-House training.

With In-House training, we aim to reach more participants, especially the engineers which most of their work dealt with designs, and end users. It is important for end users to know the basic and factors that should be considered in selecting suitable fender.

In February, we visited the engineering department of PT. Semen Indonesia in Gresik and PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya. Again, we emphasize on the importance of design and fender selection to attain the optimum function of fender systems – which to protect jetty structure as well as the vessel. With both companies role as owners, most of the discussion are about maintenance. Considering the existing fender condition and design, SFT’s representative, Chris Millwood points about the vital role of weight and tension chains, to support the whole fender systems.

We wish for the success of both companies, and hope we can support them in the future.

Feel free to contact us if you have any question.
